Grant comes to Webcentric Communications after many years in automotive product development. He held numerous creative and technical positions including technical illustrator and CAD designer. He also worked in value chain analysis as a project manager and as an advanced vehicle package engineer. In the early 1990's, while operating his own screen printing business, he became interested in web design. This kindled an interest in Information Technology and from then on he sought positions which would allow him grown in that area. Even though Grant's core responsibilities as a designer and engineer were to understand requirements, analyze problems and design solutions to them, he also customized and administered a number of intranet sites, portals and collaboration spaces such as eRooms. Grant is not only a life-long learner but is an "idea man". He graduated with honors in the spring of 2009 with a B.S. in Information Technology from Central Michigan University. He holds a patent, has two others pending and is currently working on several new inventions. He has even designed and built two telescopes and is passionate about astronomy. Throughout his life Grant has effectively used his technical, creative and artistic skills. His interests and knowledge are diverse and he brings all these things to serve the needs of Webcentric's customers. |
