Why Modular Website Design?
Our Modular Website Design offers the quality of a professionally designed site at a lower cost and a faster completion time than a completely custom built site.
All of our Modular Website Solutions are built on the rock solid foundation of Joomla.
The Joomla CMS platform provides an open framework web site solution with a wide variety of modular functions and design themes that can be added as needed to meet your needs now, and as you grow.
By building your site with Joomla, you keep full and direct control of the content on your site. You can log directly into your site from any web browser and make the changes needed at any time. And, you don't even need to know how to write HTML code.
No more having to wait for someone else to get the time to update your website for you!
What kind of functionality are you able to create for my website?
Webcentric Communications can create just about any type of functionality for your website from simple email and database forms to real-time credit card processing and much more. Our staff have integrated websites with mainframe computers, proprietary software, telephone systems and even satellites (with 3rd party assistance).
Feel free to contact us about the types of functionality you would like on your website. We are often able to suggest low-cost alternatives to custom programming as well. We will help you make excellent decisions regarding your programming needs.
Our rule of thumb on this question is, "If you want funtionality from your website, we can most always do it."
Will I be able to see and interact with my project as it is being developed?
You will receive a user ID and password that allows you to log in to our Clients area.
The clients area provides you with real time editing where you can view your project at any time.
How do you ensure your designs will meet our needs?
Our process was developed in a way to ensure your satisfaction with every aspect of your project. When your project first begins, we provide you with a special questionnaire that helps us quickly understand your needs and the needs of your website audience.
This questionnaire provides us with the strong initial guidance we need to create a design that meets your basic requirements. From there, we fine tune until you are are satisfied.
If you don't like the initial design at all, we gather additional information about how to better meet your needs and we create a new design. This process continues until we have met your satisfaction.
Once you are delighted with your website design, we proceed with the remainder of the project and ask for your feedback and approval at each stage until completion, through a checklist process.
How much do you charge for your services?
Webcentric Communications charges between $65 to $85 per hour depending on the services and resources required with price breaks depending on the project size.
However,Once we understand the services you require, we provide you with a flat fee for your project so you know exactly how much your project will cost.
If you've looked around a bit, you have probably realized that most firms don't provide their pricing information. We believe in being very up front with our clients (plus, we have great pricing!) We are able to reduce costs for our clients because we have steady projects and because we have taken measures to reduce all aspects of our own costs.
How long does it take you to construct a professional website from scratch?
It really depends on the scope of the project and the services or features required as well as the ability for our clients to provide timely feedback and/or materials.
We have the ability to create and market a professional website in as little as 1 week if you can provide us with prompt feedback and any necessary materials, although most projects are 4 weeks on average.
If third-parties are involved like banks and eCommerce gateways, more time is often needed. We always provide an estimated timeline as part of our services agreement. If you have a short timeline, we can often make excellent recommendations for what is needed to launch on time.
How can you help my business gain more customers from the Internet?
Webcentric Communications combines four critical services to help you win more customers through the Internet. These include professional website design, persuasive sales copy, user-friendly programming like contact/order forms, and search engine marketing.
Customers find your website through the top search engines by searching on keywords related to your products or services. Once they are on your website, your design creates a strong first impression that tells them you aren't a fly-by-night operation. Next, they are pulled in by persuasive sales copy that was written specifically to answer their questions and help them make an immediate decision to contact you or make a purchase. Finally, we create easy-to-use forms that make contacting your company or making a purchase very simple.
What are Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)?
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a mechanism for changing the appearance of HTML or XML elements, by assigning styles to element types, self-defined classes of elements or individual instances.
Stylesheets can be used to consistently define the appearance of an entire site. Following the introduction of CSS, the W3C recommended that layout-specific features in HTML be phased out and replaced by stylesheets, creating a simpler and more structural World Wide Web.
